GMK Dolch R5
GMK Dolch has always been one of my favorite keycap sets, a timeless classic. However, despite having owned 2 or 3 iterations of this set, the versions that have been sold in the past have not been fully tailored to my taste. I ran this new set, GMK Dolch R5, as a group-buy for a revisited original-color Dolch keyset with classic Cherry icon-text modifiers and an R5 bottom row (also known as Row A), as well as a custom color-matched teal / turquoise, for which I picked a color close enough to the one on the original Dolch PAC 64 badge.
The set is also aptly named "Dolch R5", with an obvious reference to the provided R5 bottom-row support, as well as for it being the fifth GB-like iteration of its coming (prior runs: (1) IvanIvanovich's GMK DOLCH, (2) Originative Co preorder, (3) Dolch Reborn by kekkon, and (4) Originative Co 2020 GB). There have been other iterations such as zFrontier's, a Korean vendor's, among others, but these were restricted to regions.
Above are depicted actual production samples of this set — on two keyboards of my personal collection — an OTD 456GT (tenkeyless layout), and an Ion Jubi (60% XT).
